RideFauquier is pleased to announce the receipt of a $5,000 grant from the American Quarter Horse Association's Stewards for Trails, Education and Partnerships (STEP) program. The goal of the AQHA STEP program is to increase participation in trail preservation and stewardship among equine enthusiasts. RideFauquier was one of five STEP grant recipients in 2019.

The Fauquier Trails Coalition recently awarded RideFauquier with a donation of $10,000 towards completion of the equestrian recreational facilities at Fauquier County's Meetze property.

Both the AQHA and Fauquier Trails Coalition funds come at a crucial time during ongoing construction of the parking and trail access completion and arena grading.

Meetze Station trails are now open all week.  Trailer parking is now allowed along side the Education Farm where the RideFauquier kiosk is located. The good news is that the new trailer parking lot well under way and should be ready for use in the next few months.

ALL riders must have a 2019 Trail Tag and Parking Pass per our agreement with Fauquier County.

Did you know that there is ONE horse for every 4.5 people in Fauquier County?  Help us to help you.
